We are looking to hire part-time Event Bartenders to join our Events team starting on a part-time basis for tastings in January.

Job Overview:

Event Bartenders are responsible for preparing drink orders for guests according to standard recipes at events such as wedding or social events.

Schedule:

· 8+ Hour Days, 6 Days a week in peak season

· Day and Evening Shift Availability

· Weekend availability required

· Holidays

Preferred Qualifications and Skills:

· Must have basic knowledge of beverage preparation and service of various alcoholic beverages

· TIPS Certification preferred

· Excellent organizational and time management skills

· Ability to work cohesively with fellow colleagues as part of a team

· Highly responsible and reliable

· Require ability to work flexible hours, evenings and weekends

· Must be able to routinely lift up to 35 lbs

· Must be able to stand for long periods of time

· Must be able to climb stairs

Core Duties:

This is intended to represent the key duties for this position. Responsibilities include, but are not limited to:

· Maintains proper and adequate set-up of the bar on a daily basis. This includes requisitioning and stocking of all beer, wine, spirits, paper products, straws, stirrers, and produce based on projections from the daily functions sheet.

· Stock, cut, and store of all fresh fruit and vegetable garnishes, juices and other perishables daily to insure product quality

· Greet guests in a courteous and friendly manner

· Mix, garnish and present drinks according to standard ingredient recipes and practice proper pours.

· Lock up and stores all beverages, food and other equipment items, deposits cash drops.

· Read and understand all particulars of BEO’s, including start time and beverage requirements.

· Responsible for sanitation in and around the bar area.

· Anticipate guests’ service needs, including asking questions of guests if needed to better understand their needs throughout service

· Communicate any guest complaints or requests to Banquet Captain or Venue Manager.

· Other duties as assigned by Venue Manager or Banquet Captain.
