Vennture Brew Co. is a Brewery/Coffee Roaster with a taproom/cafe that is closely connected to our community. We pride ourselves in our connection with the community as well as creating and currating a fun place to work and great beverages to serve. We were founded in 2018 and have seen our neighborhood grow and thrive.

Managing the business operations of our events including:

  • The selection, development, performance management, and scheduling of seasonal employees
  • Event inventory and internal ordering of beer and coffee products
  • Creation and enforcement of a variety of standard operating procedures for onboarding seasonal staff, cleaning, maintenance, and storage
  • Maintain cash on hand, prepare deposits, and count and distribute tips
  • Ensure all proper security procedures are in place to protect employees, guests and company assets
  • Attend weekly management meetings
  • Work with the coffee trainer to make sure all employees are educated on our beverages and products
  • Keeps owners promptly informed of all issues and takes prompt corrective action where necessary or suggest alternative solutions
  • At all times provides a favorable image of Vennture Brewing Company to promote its image
  • Communicate with current market directors as well as seek new opportunities to serve beer and coffee off site
  • Performs any other job duties that are within the scope of this title
  • 40 hours per week split between bartending and administration duties

Qualifications

  • 2+ years of experience in craft beer, craft coffee, or hospitality
  • Ability to lead and motivate a team to reach shared goals
  • A clear and effective communicator with guests, the community, coworkers, and owners
  • Detail-oriented with the ability to work efficiently and precisely in a fast-paced setting
  • Highly organized with proficiency in Google Business Suite and Square
  • Ability to analyze a variety of data and report findings on trends and patterns
  • Creativity to think of new ideas and the confidence to share and pursue them
  • Able to work mornings, evenings, weekends, and some holidays
  • Current Wisconsin Responsible Beverage Server Training certificate or willingness to obtain one
  • Must be able to stand for long periods of time and to bend, stoop, and safely lift up to 55 pounds and move up to 165 pounds
  • A valid driver’s license
  • A knowledge of craft beer, draft systems, and coffee production and preparation

Job Type: Full-time

Pay: $38,000.00 - $42,000.00 per year
