Event Coordinator (Hybrid)

Marketing - Position located in Stuart, Florida


OX Floor Coatings, www.oxfloors.com, is looking for an Event Coordinator for our Stuart, FL location to assist and represent OX at all the company-sponsored events in the Treasure Coast and surrounding areas.

Position Summary

The Marketing department supports the business by promoting OX’s brand, products, and services for the target audience or followers resulting in lasting business relationships and increased product or service profits. The Marketing department will house the Event Coordinator. Your job is to professionally represent OX at all events by possessing exceptional organizational skills and a sound knowledge of vendor management. Excellent communication and attention to detail skills are vital in this role.

Essential Duties and Responsibilities

  • Identify OX’s event requirements and expectations for each event and successfully execute company requirements.
  • Liaison with the Host venue during the event planning process to ensure everything is in order.
  • Manage all event set-up, tear down, and follow-up processes.
  • Maintain event budgets.
  • Book venues and additional staffing as needed.
  • Conduct final inspections on the day of the event.
  • Assess each event’s overall success and submit findings.
  • Promote and sell OX at each event per company standards.
  • Develop a genuine warm and polite rapport and conversation with the venue, its attendees, and its staff.
  • Work all the Events, especially on the weekends.
  • Ability to lift to 30 lbs., walk, stoop, bend, stand for long period at the events, and accustomed to the Florida weather/heat at the outdoor events.
  • Adhere to Safety rules and policies at all times.
  • Commitment to an outstanding customer service experience from beginning to end!


Experience and Minimum Qualifications

Special events, trade shows experience required

  • At least 3-5 years as an Event Coordinator
  • Well-organized with excellent multi-tasking skillsets
  • Superb Vendor Management skills
  • Ability to be proactive and foresee what could go wrong at each event and proactively find solutions in a calm manner
  • Attention to detail a must
  • Excellent communication and organizational skills
  • Driven and collaborative approach
  • Some proficiency using Microsoft Office Suite (Outlook, Word, Excel, PowerPoint).
  • Manage social media portals
  • Access to reliable transportation
  • Must be legally authorized to work in country of employment without sponsorship from employer
  • Must have satisfactory background check, drug test results

Salary: $45,000.00 per year

Schedule: Thursday to Monday, off Tuesday & Wednesday

  • 8 hour shift
  • Weekend availability
