Job description
We are seeking an Executive Assistant with great communication, facilitation, and problem-solving skills to support 2-3 North America VPs of R&D. The role will own a range of administrative and executive support related tasks and work independently within established guidelines. It will also need to make decisions in planning, organizing, and scheduling various meetings and project/program reviews.
A high level of integrity and confidentiality is crucial to this role. Excellent written and verbal communication skills, independent decision-making ability and attention to detail are equally important.
Success in the Role: What are the performance outcomes over the first 6-12 months you will work toward completing?
- Schedule and manage a demanding Outlook calendar, prioritize, and resolve schedule conflicts, handle scheduling challenges arising from urgent requests
- Travel planning and expense support and management.
- Partner with the business operations functions to create and edit business communication and documents
The Work: What type of work will you be doing? What assignments, requirements, or skills will you be performing on a regular basis?
- Responsible for coordinating and planning all-hands, meetings, conference calls, and special events, including arrangement of logistics, meeting space, communications, and catering.
- Partner closely with other administrative and support staff to facilitate communication with all levels of management internal and external
- Create and tracks PRs and POs as required
- Strong in organizational, project, and time management skills.
- Ability to recognize and appropriately handle highly sensitive and confidential material and information.
- Dedicated and highly organized with the ability to perform multiple tasks and handle changing priorities successfully with little supervision
- Able to work individually and be pro-active as well as a team member.
- Able to work with individuals at all levels of the organization
- Excellent verbal and written communication skills.

Where is this role located?
Flexible: The role is considered flexible and will be a mix of working from a local VMware office and remote depending on your preferences and the arrangements determined with your future manager. You will be expected to live within a reasonable commute of the office.

For US based candidates, the annual pay range (OTE for commissioned roles; Salary for other roles) for this position is: $75,000 - $170,000. The actual offer will be based on the role, location, and individual candidate experience. Bonus, commission, and/or equity may be eligible for this position.
