Responsibilities:
- Develop and execute menus that offer elevated yet approachable dining options for our guests.
- Manage food and labor costs and ensure that the kitchen operates efficiently and effectively.
- Hire, train, and supervise kitchen staff, ensuring that all team members work in accordance with food safety and sanitation standards.
- Oversee inventory and ordering of supplies and maintain kitchen equipment.
- Collaborate with the General Manager to ensure that the restaurant is meeting financial goals and guest satisfaction metrics.
Qualifications:
- 5+ years of experience as a chef in a high-volume restaurant or hospitality setting.
- Strong leadership skills, with experience building and managing a kitchen team.
- A passion for creating delicious and innovative cuisine.
- Knowledge of food safety and sanitation standards, and a commitment to upholding them.
- Excellent communication and organizational skills.
- Experience with inventory management and cost control.
