Job Summary and Qualifications

Responsible for overseeing operational issues of food court, patient production, doctor lounges, catering and staff in each of those areas. Ensures each area is in compliance with HACCP, serve safe, and state standards and regulations and monitors for quality improvement.

What you will do in this role:

• You will apply knowledge of Nutrition, Food Production, Retail Sales and System Management in Health Care Setting
• Your role manages Operational Issues of Food Courts and Staff
• You will manage Operational Issues of Doctor Lounges and Staff
• You will also manage Operational Issues of Catering
• You will be responsible for HACCP, SERVE SAFE, and Quality Improvement and Menu Development
• You will strive to fulfill the hospital and department I CARE Values, Mission Statement, and Goals
• You role acts on behalf of Department Director when necessary

What qualifications you will need:

• Associate Degree in Culinary Arts.
• AVF Certifies (American Culinary Federation) (Preferred but not required)
• Bachelors Degree Preferred but not required
• Minimum 3 years experience in Healthcare Foodservice Management
• Minimum 3 years experience in Commercial Foodservice Management
• Current ServSafe Certification
