About the Role:
Arbour Counseling Services is excited to offer a Full Time Executive Director of Outpatient Services role to lead our Outpatient Clinics across Massachusetts. The Executive Director of Outpatient Services will provide management and oversight of patient services coordination, programming, and activities within each facility. This role will be based out of either our Allston or Franklin MA locations, but requires travel to our Outpatient Clinics about 50% of the time - our current Outpatient Clinics are in Lowell, Haverhill, Woburn, Allston, Norwell, Franklin, Fall River & Worcester.
Our Outpatient counseling allows our patients to receive treatment options and support within a much more free and open time schedule. While programs are structured, our outpatient counseling is best for those stepping down from a higher level of care, seeking limited treatment options or testing out treatment for the first time. Arbour offers individual therapy, group therapy, couples therapy, family therapy, medication evaluation & management, school-based treatment, and elder services within our Outpatient program.The Outpatient Clinician delivers direct services to clients, and may provide individual, group, family, or other authorized therapy services within our outpatient center; participates in interdisciplinary treatment planning; and ensures that any treatments delivered are within the scope of the therapist’s training, experience and general level of competence.

Essential Responsibilities:
- Provides oversight of programs and activities for 8 Outpatient Clinics
- Proposes, develops, and implements plans for enhancing the program and activities
- Works with CEO to ensure continuity of clinical programming
- Works with business development team for expansion and growth of clinical program
- Ensures team peformance standards meet established requirements.
- Monitors evidence-based practices in collaboration with Center Directors, Clinical Managers, and other Supervisors.
- Oversight of program schedule that meets the unique needs of patient population and any unique services groups, based on level of care, balancing both quality and efficiency
- Ensures appropriate documentation of all programs and activities
- Ensures programs adhere to strict standards of confidentiality
- Manages the performance of staff including providing guidance and feedback, monitoring competence and attendence
- Oversight and implementation of EHR

Qualifications
- Master’s Degree in Social Work, Counseling, Psychology or related Program from an accredited college or University, plus accompanying clinical license in good standing in Massachusetts (LICSW, LMHC, PsyD, PhD)
- Minimum 3 years of management and clinical supervision experience required
- Minimum 5 years of experience within an in outpatient setting preferred
- Candidate must possess appropriate citizenship work documentation
- Candidate must pass a CORI and drug test, as well as other pre-employment documentation
- Candidate must provide proof of Covid-19 Vaccination Card or appropriate religious / medical exemption. Card must possess at least either two Moderna Vaccinations, two Pfizer vaccinations, or a J&J vaccination with an additional Moderna/Pfizer vaccination.
