Suburban Chimney Solutions is hiring! We are looking for a new, long-term chimney repair specialist to join our team and grow with us. MUST HAVE MASONRY EXPERIENCE LAYING BRICK. This position requires the individual to have effective communication skills, be comfortable with ladders/ scaffolding, roofs, and no fear of heights. Masonry experience is required for this position. Attention to detail is a must as we focus on providing quality work, job-site safety, and assuring that every job site is left clean.

As a chimney repair specialist, you will be responsible for rebuilding and repairing masonry brick chimneys, installing crowns with a overhang, knowing how to build forms from wood, installing chimney liners, parging smoke chambers and more.

Job Duties:

Setup and climb ladders and/or staging to access the roof. Be proficient in setting up and taking down scaffolding safely on the ground/ roof. Must be able to lay brick, Install chimney caps, liner installation is a plus, top mounting dampers, masonry repairs, and rebuilds of the chimney's exterior/interior, tuckpointing. Parge and repair smoke chambers: May require standing, squatting, or sitting inside the fireplace to access interior of smoke chamber.

Clean out trucks daily and keep tools in order, clean. Must be proficient and able to train new hires as needed.

Requirements:

Must have good leadership skills and teamwork, good communication and customer service skills, flexibility, and use initiative, cleanliness, and personable.

Have a valid driver's license; you will have to drive a truck with a 6x12 enclosed trailer.

Some overhead lifting is required.

We require all employees to arrive at work, on time, presentable, and ready to put forth their best efforts each day.

Must have reliable transportation to company office/garage each day in Inver Grove Heights.

Salary/Incentives:

Job Type: Full-time

Schedule: 40-50 hours per week.

Day shift

Monday - Friday

Overtime available, occasional Saturdays required.

High school or equivalent (preferred) but not required.

Experience:

Masonry: 3 years (minimum) working on chimneys.

Valid Driver's License (Required)

Clean driving record.

Work Location: Inver Grove Heights.
