Laborer Job Summary

Honc is seeking hard-working and reliable Laborers to join our Team. Our Laborers will participate in a variety of projects and follow plans and instructions from the site Foreman and Superintendent. Although experience is not essential to this position, candidates will have to be physically fit and a fast learner.

Laborer Duties and Responsibilities

• Loading and unloading of materials and tools
• Removing debris, garbage and dangerous materials from job sites
• Assisting contractors as required
• Assisting with transport and operation of heavy machinery and equipment
• Following all health and safety regulations
• Responsible for wearing appropriate safety/protective clothing/gear
• Other duties as assigned

Laborer Requirements and Qualifications

• Similar work experience may be beneficial, but not required
• Pass a pre-employment drug and alcohol screening and background check is required
• Ability to sit, climb, squat, bend or stand for an extended period of time. In addition, ability to lift a minimum of 50 lbs.
• Ability to work in a team setting
• Ability to communicate and report effectively
• Good physical condition and stamina

Compensation

• Based on experience
• Full Time: 35-50+ hour work week
