The Dashing Dog Parlour is looking for a motivated and experienced dog groomer to join our team. Here at The Dog Parlour we strive to provide a unique grooming enviroment with free access to Continued education courses/seminars and paid travel for Conventions. The ideal candidate will have a passion for animals and a strong customer service ethic. You will be responsible for providing our 4-legged clients with the highest quality grooming services. DDP Is constantly growing and pushing to be the best, as a employee you'll be expected to help your coworkers ensure a low stress and beneificial environment.

We utilize Fear Free methods and new age grooming techniques to keep dogs happy and safe; here at DDP you'll see 90% of clients running INTO our dogs excited for their grooming day.

Owners are actively in Shop working as experienced groomers.

Groomer assistants on site to assist with bathing and drying groom dogs.

Receptionist on site to assist with checking in and out dogs.

Responsibilities:

• Bathe, brush, and dry dogs of all sizes and breeds
• Grind nails, clean ears.
• Provide haircuts and styling according to client's preferences.
• Maintain a clean and organized grooming salon
• Handle customer inquiries and complaints in a professional manner
• Attend continuing education classes to stay up-to-date on the latest grooming techniques
• Capable of practicing Fear Free Methods to keep pets calm, happy, and safe.

Qualifications:

• Experience as a dog groomer
• High school diploma or GED
• Ability to stand for long periods of time
• Strong customer service skills
• Love of animals
• Commitment to continued education
• Capable and willing to adjust standard grooming techniques to meet pets need and comfort
• Drug-Free
• 2+ years experience
• Own Tools
