Job description

• Work with a crew or alone to service and install solar pool heating systems, hot water tanks, and photo-voltaic (PV Systems)
• Installing and maintaining panels on the roof of a residential home or corporate office
• Staying up to date on local, state, and federal codes to install and maintain panels according to regulations
• Reading blueprints and schematics to place panels correctly
• Layout and assemble solar modules/array, mounting hardware, and electrical equipment
• Electrical wiring of solar array/system (AC and DC)
• Communicate job status to management to assure the successful completion of all jobs.
• Lifting heavy materials, climbing ladders, and moving about on roofs
• Cutting, fitting, and connecting multiple panels
• Choosing and configuring setup location
• Helping build a solar farm
• Reading and knowing solar plans
• Familiar with running PVC Pipes
• Maintaining a clean job site

Basic Qualification

• All applicants must have a valid Florida Driver's license
• Must have reliable transportation (Will not need to use personal vehicle to travel to job site)
• Must possess positive attitude, great customer service skills, and detailed orientated
• Customer service skills is a must
• Not afraid of heights and must be able to work in the sun
• Must be able to lift at least 50lbs, crawl into attics, and climb a ladder
• Ability to work independently
• Trade tools are a must (negotiable)

Required Qualification

• Solar experience is a must
• PVC Plumbing and or copper experience
• Basic knowledge of pool equipment and how it operates
• Plumbing, Roofing, and Electrical Experience is a plus

Hours of Operation

• Monday – Friday, 7:00am – 5:00pm (weather permitting), Weekend availability is a plus

Benefits

• 10 Paid Holiday Days (after 90 days of employment)
• Paid vacation after 1 year of employment
• Commission on sales

Job Type: Full-time

Pay: $17.00 - $22.00 per hour
