Corona Animal Emergency Center (CAEC) is seeking a full-time, reliable Front Desk Veterinary Assistant to join our team.

- Greet all clients with a positive greeting; answer phones; take messages and answer basic client questions
- Gain the knowledge of the services we offer and how we can help our clients and patients. Provide exceptional customer service and the highest standard of emergent patient care
- Ability to document all necessary information in the client/patient record.
- Be familiar with infectious diseases; including prevention, and the steps to reduce or eliminate transmission
- Handle all cash transactions including deposits and invoicing
- Communication is key. The applicant should have exemplary communication skills with both colleagues and clients.
- This position will include nights, weekends and holidays.
Requirements:
-Minimum 1 year experience providing exceptional customer service in the veterinary field
-Ability to work well in a team setting
-Exceptional customer service
- Eager and open to learn from experienced Veterinary Technicians and Doctors
-Motivated, dependable and reliable
-Takes initiative
-Ability to work well in a fast-pace environment
-Experience with emergency veterinary care is a plus but not required
-Experience with Ezyvet and Smartflow is a plus but not required
