The purpose of the role:
To ensure vinyl fence boards meet all quality and customer specification requirements. Perform product-specific adjustments and general maintenance on a twin-screw extruder to ensure efficient run-time and production.
Requirements:
- Be able to add, subtract, multiply, and divide in all units of measure, using whole numbers, common fractions, and decimals.
- Have the ability to use micrometers, calipers, and hand tools.
- Must keep safety in mind at all times as this job requires the ability to work safely around the extruders in narrow, small spaces, on damp and/or wet floors, and will be exposed to dyes and plastic at high temperatures.
- Must be able to work a rotating 12-hour day or night shifts.
- Possess good verbal, written, and interpersonal skills and teaming ability
- Have high school diploma or GED is required and a minimum of 2 years machine operating experience, or 1 year CNC experience, or technical school training in CNC operation., or experience at Barrette.
