Job Description:
Under the direction of the Facilities Manager, performs routine maintenance duties throughout property including rough/finish carpentry, painting, plumbing agriculture/ heavy equipment operation and basic equipment or facility repairs, in accordance with Company’s applicable Operational Standards.
Core Responsibilities:
- Painting, hanging drywall and drywall repair.
- May need to mow lawn, remove weeds and brush, and does other unskilled yard work.
- Previous experience with heavy/agricultural machinery a plus.
- Assists in snow shoveling when needed.
- Must Role Model Company guest service program.
- Perform Preventative Maintenance on all mechanical equipment onsite.
- Have the ability to assess and relay plumbing, mechanical and other building related issues to management.
- Maintain compliance to State, County, or City Ordinances, Codes, or Laws.
- Comply with all safety procedures.
- Comply with all policies for the safe storage, usage, and disposal of hazardous materials.
- Participate in ongoing technical, safety, and operational process training programs
- General Interior Maintenance: hang pictures, install keyboard trays, repair office furniture systems, etc.
- Special Tasks: painting, locksmith work, tenant services requests, etc., and general maintenance.
- Maintain lighting system bulbs and ballasts.
- Assist operations team in maintenance and repair of building and equipment.
- Perform minor plumbing repairs.
- Move office furniture, machinery, equipment, and other materials, as requested
- Assists with loading or unloading trucks and moving furniture when needed
- Perform assigned facility inspections and due diligence efforts; report on as-found conditions.
- Maintain good housekeeping and safety of work areas.
- Recognize danger and safety hazards; propose methods to eliminate them.
- Using ladders up to 30 ft and working from heights.
- Climbing a ladder with a 300-lb weight limit while carrying a tool bag weighing approximately 20 lbs.
- Other duties as assigned.
Qualifications/Requirements:
- High school diploma or equivalency degree required
- Minimum of one-year previous experience in general maintenance/repair for commercial facility required.
- Must be able to obtain a New York State Gaming License.
Other
- Must have general knowledge of the use of simple equipment used in building trades.
- Ability to understand and follow OSHA guidelines
- Ability to stand, crouch, and climb to perform repairs, use ladders, and perform various types of manual labor.
- Ability to lift up to 85 pounds occasionally.
- Visual acuity sufficient for reading, performing repairs, and painting.
- Weekends, Holidays, and swing shifts may be required.
· Must be able to obtain a New York State Gaming License.
- Must be able to successfully pass background check.
- Must be able to successfully pass drug screening.
