Job Description
OverviewThe Facilities Coordinator is responsible for maintaining, caring for, and efficiently operating all equipment and facilities the organization uses. They will maintain efficient and smooth operation of the Neighborhood House building and campus.
Duties And Responsibilities
Core Duties and Responsibilities- Maintains physical space, ensuring a safe, clean, and functional environment; fixes building problems as needed
- Manage contractors as needed to resolve specialized problems
- Drafts and implements preventive maintenance schedules for buildings and equipment
- Maintains the inventory of supplies; reorders as needed
- Inspects and performs maintenance on miscellaneous equipment
- Manage vehicle fleet of vans, including scheduling inspections and regular maintenance
- Ensures assigned facilities and equipment are ready for everyday business and special events.
- Maintains files of warranties, records, licenses, inspections, service agreements, and contracts for various pieces of equipment
- Maintains the inventory, storage, and distribution of equipment
- Provides recommendations for purchases of new equipment
- Snow plow sidewalks and campus as needed
- Performs other related duties as assigned
Qualifications
- At least two years of related experience required
- Excellent verbal and written communication skills
- Knowledge of mechanical processes
- Pass a BCI (Background Screening) and drug test
