Summary:


This position serves as general maintenance and administrative support to the Facilities department in our Houston, Texas office.


Responsibilities:

  • Troubleshoot, repair, and maintain facilities systems, including HVAC, lighting, plumbing, access control systems, and overhead cranes.
  • Perform reactive and scheduled preventative maintenance for facilities such as filters, pits, and septic tanks.
  • Manage and perform all preventative maintenance on facilities’ equipment.
  • Inform management of the status of repairs
  • Control inventory levels for maintenance supplies and equipment
  • Inspect buildings, grounds, and equipment for unsafe conditions.
  • Work with HSE to ensure compliance with OSHA, EPA, NFPA (National Fire Protection Association), and NEC (National Electrical Code)
  • Provide occasional support to remote locations- some overnight travel is required.
  • Perform work at elevated heights when necessary.
  • Operate a forklift.
  • Can provide on-call services as necessary.
  • Other duties as assigned.

Educational Requirements / Qualifications:

  • A high school diploma or equivalent is required.
  • Advanced skill set in one or more of the following areas: Electrical, Plumbing, HVAC, and Access Control Systems (10+ years preferred)
  • Ability to communicate maintenance needs and project future needs.
  • Must be able to lift 50 lbs.
  • Must be able to sustain heights (using ladders) up to 25 feet.
  • Must be able to operate a company vehicle safely.
  • Basic computer skills with moderate proficiency in Microsoft Office
  • Some overtime is required.
