Job Description

This position is responsible for supporting multiple departments that may include, but are not necessarily limited to: Facilities, Full Service Kitchen Cafe, R&D, Manufacturing, Training Center, Engineering, Customer Service, Finance, Marketing, HR, IT, Logistics, and Quality departments through activities that may include routine and semi-skilled tasks, involving general and preventative maintenance.

Job Duties

  • Perform preventative maintenance on all manufacturing, quality, engineering, and facilities equipment, when necessary.


  • Enter any new manufacturing, quality, or facilities equipment requiring PM into the maintenance software program.


  • Perform basic tasks in the preventative maintenance software


  • Communicate with manufacturing supervisors, managers, technicians, engineers, or group leaders as to minimize downtime on any production lines.


  • Perform basic plumbing, electrical, HVAC, carpentry, and maintenance duties. Troubleshoot basic equipment malfunctions.


  • Receive and respond to Facility Help-Box requests in a timely and efficient manner.


  • Perform conference/training room set ups as requested for meetings, as well as set up and tear down of equipment for company events.


  • Perform office/cube moves.


  • Ensure all safety programs, policies and procedures are strictly followed.


  • Ensure all applicable SOP'S, GSOP'S and work instruction policies and procedures are strictly followed.


  • Perform general exterior grounds maintenance, including trash cleanup and shoveling snow.


  • Perform general filter changes for maintenance equipment.


  • Perform light bulbs changes as required.


  • Participate in cross-functional teams to solve Facilities issues.


  • Maintain acceptable standards for attendance and work overtime as needed.


  • Perform general maintenance inspections.


  • Assist other Facility team members in daily activities and projects, and perform any other related duties as assigned by Facilities Manager.


  • All other duties as assigned.

Job Requirements

REQUIRED QUALIFICATIONS:


  • A High School Diploma or equivalent is required.


  • A minimum one (1) year experience in a Facilities/Maintenance industry is required, or the equivalent combination of education and experience.


  • Maintain acceptable standards for attendance and work overtime, as needed.


  • Basic computer proficiency in Microsoft applications (i.e., Word, Excel, PowerPoint, Visio and Outlook) is necessary.


  • Ability to learn and understand the Agile and Oracle software systems.


  • Ability to correctly use all mechanical hand tools. (Power and manual tools).


  • Ability to work independently and in a team environment.


  • Basic understanding of HVAC systems including, but not limited to: chillers, dry coolers, VAV’s, FPVAV’S, boilers etc.


  • Ability to learn and understand the basic functions of the Facilities Explorer software.


  • Must be organized and able to handle a multi-task environment.
