The Facilities Technician is responsible for general plant maintenance and repairs of the buildings and equipment. This position will work to keep the plant tidy and functioning properly. This position must be able to move quickly from project to project as the needs arise. The Facilities Tech must work well with different departments to make sure needs are met in the proper method and timeframe. This position must be able to use and understand many different tools and equipment while making sure these items are kept in good working order.
In this role you will:

Complete production equipment repairs including root cause analysis and implementation of corrective actions.

Create and maintain equipment records and documentation (SAP).

Monitors assets regarding security measures, door security equipment, ensure it always remains functional including daily maintenance issues such as batteries and mechanical hardware.

Ability to operate multiple models of forklifts as well as flatbed trucks and pickup trucks with trailers.

Ability to perform job tasks, including lifting, using ladders, and climbing stairways.

Performs assigned day-to-day repairs, emergency and preventive maintenance.

Assists with installation and modification of building equipment systems.

Assists with troubleshooting and repairs of buildings and installed systems to include janitorial, plumbing systems, roofs, drains, shop, and HVAC.

Performs carpentry, furniture assembly and locksmith tasks as needed.

Performs other duties as assigned.

Ability to be forklift certified.
Traits we believe make a strong candidate:

Skilled in Facilities competencies such as painting, cleaning, carpentry and assembly.

Ability to use forklifts and heavy machinery.

Basic computer/networking experience preferred.

Valid driver's license required.

Flexibility to changing priorities.

Ability to lift 50lbs regularly.
