JOB DETAILS:
Position Summary
Under general supervision of the Facility Services Administrative Director, Fleet Services and the Facility Services Office at the University of Wisconsin Stevens Point, which includes; the purchase of used vehicles and the replacement and titling of University owned vehicles, responsibility for the vehicle auction process, fleet vehicle assignment, rental fleet, maintenance, and replacement, and to communicate collaboration and coordination among all operational units and staff within the department. In addition, this position will oversee the processing of departmental travel expenses, all departmental new employee orientation process, and overall office support of Facility Services. This position will perform work independently, only referring matters to the supervisor for clarification.
QUALIFICATIONS:
Required Qualifications
- Bachelor’s degree and/or 3-5 years of financial equivalent experience
- Experience organizing and presenting financial data using spreadsheets and various software programs.
- Record keeping and file management skills to organize, document, and retrieve data in a variety of methods.
- Advanced-level competency Microsoft Office applications (Word, Excel, Power Point, Visio etc.).
- Excellent interpersonal and customer service skills
- Ability to communicate in a variety of mediums: face to face, telephone, formal reports, technical papers, executive summaries, email, oral presentations, written “Report of Findings”, articles and papers, annual reports, computer aided presentations, and through participation in committees and meetings.
Preferred Qualifications
- Strong working knowledge of CMMS (Computerized Maintenance Management Software).
- Experience in Facilities Operations
- Experience working with municipalities, state, or UW-Systems entities.

This is an Academic Staff annual appointment, exempt from the Fair Labor Standards Act. Salary is commensurate with qualifications and experience.
