This is a full time, temporary position until 6/30/2023.
Purpose and Functions: Data Support Specialist, Employment and Case Management Services (TANF) As a member of the Family Services Team, the Data Support Specialist delivers an accurate, efficient analysis of Families First, Employment and Case Management Services (ECMS) data entered by ECMS Team Members. The Data Specialist ensures that the data is both complete and error free. Daily use of Salesforce and the state’s database system, ACCENT, is essential.
General Responsibilities:
- Manage desk duties while answering the phone and screening calls.
- Perform administrative office duties along with office supply management.
- Cross references data from Salesforce, the current administrative program, to the state’s system, ACCENT.
- Utilizes Salesforce to monitor client records and information.
- Enters attendance records, and other documentation as necessary.
- Provides customer support needed to serve the client and team to ensure program success.
- Assists staff in resolving Salesforce Help Desk tickets.
- Confirms accuracy of administrative systems through analysis of the daily error log and other reports.
- Provides daily alerts and updates to staff.
- Generates required reports relating to transportation and support services.
- Provides weekly reports to team members as requested.
- Documents in the State’s system of record
- Excels in professional, courteous communication with all company personnel, regardless of position.
- Assist clients with transportation and support issues.
- Proficiency in Microsoft Office software with ability to data enter and extract information from a computer system and a wide variety of written materials such as forms, resource lists, and case records in an accurate and timely manner.
- May be assigned other duties as necessary for program success.

Qualifications:
- High School diploma or equivalent required.
- Keyboarding and data entry experience is essential.

- Ability to communicate clearly and concisely, both orally and written.
- Requires a professional demeanor and a strong orientation toward customer service, both internally and externally to include clients, coworkers and partners.
- Skill in establishing and maintaining effective working relationships with a diverse, demanding client base. Provides quality services and achieve goals in a fast paced, highly accountable team environment
. * Proficiency in Microsoft Office programs, in related software systems, and online information systems is fundamental. Proficiency in keyboarding skills is necessary.
- Experience with spreadsheet programs such as Excel, to include creating and maneuvering data within a spreadsheet.
- Must be able to sit at a computer terminal for extended periods of time.
Position Type & Expected Hours of Work: This is an hourly, full time position based on a 37.5 hour work week. Hours of work are 8:00am until 4:30pm Monday through Friday. This position requires the flexibility to modify work schedule to accommodate the client’s needs and to provide after-hours programs if needed. This modification of schedule includes working varied shifts, evenings and weekends as necessary.
