Spring is here, it’s the perfect time of year to join our awesome team! Lefeber Turf Farm is looking for a dedicated, ambitious, and friendly individual to join us on the field crew. This position has lots of potential for growth and advancement within the company.

Job Description Summary:
As a part of our field crew, you will be responsible for mowing and fertilizing our turf fields, laying netting and planting new crops. In addition, you may be asked to help greet customers and load orders, and assist delivery drivers in preparing and securing their loads. We are looking for someone who enjoys being outdoors, staying active, and can multi-task and prioritize throughout the workday. Additionally, you will be helping with various maintenance tasks. Wage: depending on experience ($18-22/hr.)

Key Responsibilities:
- Mowing, Fertilizing, and Irrigating fields
- Laying netting and planting new crops
- Helping during harvesting, prepping orders for customers
- Assisting customers with loading orders
- Loading/unloading delivery trucks
- Strapping down & securing delivery loads
- Maintaining an organized work area in the shop & throughout the yard
- Operating farm equipment (forklifts, tractors, etc).
- Fueling, greasing, and maintaining forklifts & other equipment
- Cleaning/detailing equipment
- Other tasks as assigned

Qualifications/Skills:
- Friendly customer service
- Detail oriented
- Self-starter
- Drivers License required
- Forklift experience a plus, but we are willing to train you.
- Requires lifting items at least 30lbs, occasionally up to 90lbs.

Job Type: Full-time

Pay: From $18.00 per hour
