Position Summary:
Responsible for all aspects of the financial planning and analysis (FP&A) and financial management of company labor expense. Role partners with General Managers and business partners on budgeting along with ad hoc analysis such as optimal rooms expense and weekly/monthly revenue analysis.
Essential Functions
- Coordinate and direct the preparation of the annual budget and financial forecasts.
- Assist in the preparation of monthly financial reports along with analytical insights to increase awareness of sales and cost drivers.
- Manage the payroll process by ensuring discussions take place to assist with payroll processes. This includes proper cut off procedures for time approval, correct deductions and payment take place, and 401k payment processing.
- Manage the headcount expenses by department to benchmark against internal and external comps.
- Assist Finance team with P&L analytics and insights.
- Model revenue for daily, monthly, and yearly average daily revenue and occupancy analysis for forecasting insights.
- Preparing periodic reports that compare budgeted costs to actual costs.
- Leverage Microsoft Power BI and excel analytics to deep dive opportunities and risks.
- Maintain a positive attitude throughout the day, and keep Team Member morale high.
- Anticipate and meet the needs and expectations of our customers, then go one step further.
- Analyze aged receivables for collection risk.
