We are seeking a FINANCIAL ANALYST to join the Orvis Team! This position will have the option to be fully remote, located at our corporate headquarters at the base of the Green Mountains in Sunderland, VT or at our office in Roanoke, VA.Orvis is seeking a Financial Analyst to play an integral part in Orvis’ long-term and near-term financial planning process. The ideal candidate will have 1-2 years of experience in corporate finance, consulting, investment banking, data analytics, private equity, or a related field. Key qualifications include strong excel-based financial modeling skills (income statement, balance sheet, and cash flow), excellent communication abilities including experience building presentations, and a team player that can partner across all levels of the organization.

Position Interfaces:
This position will report to the Director of Financial Planning & Analysis and will work closely with the CFO/CAO and VP of Finance & Accounting.
Responsibilities:
- Develop and maintain Orvis’ budgeting cycle that supports our Brand and Finance Strategies.
- Work with key stakeholders to research, assess, and model key strategic initiatives.
- Work closely with Corporate FP&A team to align long-range plan to our detailed annual plan.
- Assist in various annual planning responsibilities including inventory management, financial close, balance sheet/cash flow modeling, forecasts scenarios, capex planning.
- Support Retail, Wholesale, Logistics, and Orvis Adventures.
- Collaborating with President, CFO/CAO, & VP Finance/Accounting, develop quarterly board-level & shareholder presentations.
- Play a key role in supporting special projects and ad hoc analyses.
- 1-2 years of corporate finance, consulting, investment banking, data analytics, private equity, or a related field
- Experience building complex excel-based financial models, including income statement, balance sheet, and cash flow.
- Experience developing Board-level presentations to communicate complex concepts as simply as possible
- Team player and exhibits flexibility and willingness to take on new responsibilities and assignments.
- Comfortable working in cross-functional teams and across all levels of management.
- A brand ambassador who believes deeply in Orvis’ vision to inspire the world to love the adventure and wonder in nature
