This position is advertised from the minimum to the mid-point hourly rate. Salary will be determined based on education and experience at the time of offer.
NATURE OF WORK
Skill in: Effectively managing staff, delegating tasks and authority, and training personnel; assessing and prioritizing multiple tasks, projects and demands; developing and implementing procedures for cost effective management of allocated resources; analyzing issues and preparing recommendations based on findings; analyzing and evaluating statistical data and technical documentation; preparing reports and checking details, estimates, plans, and specifications of projects; establishing effective working relationship with other agencies, professionals (architects, engineers, attorneys, registered sanitarians) and the public; enforcing fire and life safety codes, regulations, operational standards, and mandates; working as a team member with other emergency services agencies; communicating effectively verbally and in writing; public speaking and presentation techniques; using computers and advanced level software applications.
Ability to: Communicate effectively verbally and written; use modern office equipment and computers; plan, organize, direct staff; research and write detailed reports and narratives for grant applications; planning and organizing work; establish and maintain effective working relationships with employees, other agencies and the public; perform the essential functions of the job specifications with or without a reasonable accommodation.
Work Environment:
The usual and customary methods of performing the job’s functions require the following physical demands: occasional lifting, carrying, pushing, and/or pulling; some stooping, kneeling, crouching, and/or crawling; and significant fine finger dexterity; generally, the job requires 60% sitting, 20% walking and 20% standing; working at a computer monitor for extended periods required; the job is performed under minimal temperature variations and in a generally hazard free environment.

HDHP-HSA Wellness Incentive for Employee Only option can receives upto $240.00 annual contribution to a Limited Purpose FSA card.
Southwest Service Administrator (SSA) Mexico PPO Health Plan: SSA is available to employees who are enrolled in YCEBT Medical PPO Plan. The SSA Plan pays 100% of hospital, medical, laboratory and prescription drug benefits, to a maximum of $5,000 per person per calendar year ($10,000 for two or more family members).
