As a FOH Manager, you're responsible for the execution of your shift by following our standards and supervising our team in an energetic environment. A successful manager will ensure that everything is in order from the stocking of service stations to staffing levels to maintaining clean restrooms. No two days are alike and no matter how busy things may get: we are a group of people who promote teamwork, encourage a fun work environment, and share common goals of creating signature dishes for our guests.
Preparation is key to a successful shift. Expect the unexpected. And at Syberg's we are always expecting to be busy!
You work hard to make sure our guests are happy, employees are happy, and that operations are ran efficiently and smoothly. At the end of the day, it's all about giving attentive service... and meeting other great people along the way!
Job Requirements:
- Build a rapport with guests. There is one extremely important skill restaurant managers have to be excellent at, and that building a relationship with our guests. The aim is to create a dining experience that keeps customers returning.
- Promote a team environment by fostering respect, recognizing achievements, resolving employee concerns and communicating effectively. Empower our team by always explaining the "why" and effectively coaching and providing feedback.
- Dedicated to quality, consistency, and exceptional customer service.
- Be prepared and ready to learn. This requires you to come to work on time and ready to work with a "Get it done" attitude. You are eager to learn new duties and responsibilities to advance your career.
- Work with a team of professionals. You enjoy working with others and through collaboration, our kitchen team turns out delicious food. Sometimes this means being flexible and using your knowledge to help others.
- Exhibit clean work habits and understand your shared ownership of keeping a safe and clean work area.
