Our frozen custard is made fresh each day - the same way and with the same ingredients that it has been made since we opened in 1902. As store opener, you would be directly responsible for the creation of 8 unique batches of frozen custard each day as well as in the preparation of other frozen custard products such as cakes, pies, Oreo wheels, frozen dipped chocolate bananas, and our signature "turtles!"

You will learn the ins and outs of Abbott’s custard machine along with proper mix handling and preparation techniques. "...It's always been about the taste," so regular machine maintenance and following all recipe guidelines are of utmost importance.
But what good is great custard without the most important component to our business' success? Our customers! "Made fresh just for you," will become your mantra, and the attention and care you put into the creation of our sweet treats will be evident from your excellent customer service. And, you will be expected to follow through on all routine daily operations, such as (but not limited to): general cleanliness, restocking, product rotation, and having a natural familiarity with our menu.
Qualifications:
- Must have a valid driver's license and be willing to travel between both our stores, located in Arlington & Lexington, as needed.
- Must have morning AND weekend availability.
- Must be coachable and a team-player
- Valid ServSafe certification is preferred, but not required.
