THE COMPANY

We are a unique, "New American" style taco truck that is in high demand. We execute all scratch food preparation and provide a fun, refreshing kitchen setting that changes daily and allows you to interact with your customers.

This position is for our second location in the Glens Falls area. Our first truck is based out of Delhi, NY. We opened a second truck in the Glens Falls area that successfully operated in 2021 and 2022. We are seeking to hire a new Manager for the "North" truck where your customers will eagerly be awaiting your return to their area in 2024.

THE JOB:

Be your own boss, and run your own truck with our growing company, Ty's Taco-ria. This is a full time seasonal job that pays well enough for you to take the winter off. Expect to work sun up to sun down most days from May-October.

• some cooking background preferred, but we'll teach you our ways of operation
• We are looking for the exact right person, not for experience. We will train the right individual to grow with our company.

Job duties include all day to day operations, not limited to:

• completely independent operation of your trucks business
• all food service operations such as: preparing recipes, serving food from the truck, ordering product, product pickup, loading product, daily opening and closing, dishwashing.
• must be able to lift 60lb
• manage the truck's location schedule
• employee management and scheduling
• customer relations and timely client correspondence, (emails, calls, texts)
• driving daily, anywhere from 10 minutes to 1.5 hours
• keeping the truck well maintained mechanically
• proper cleaning and equipment maintenance inside the truck's kitchen
• keeping accurate and organized records of all business activity
• always taking proactive measures to ensure the business is running smoothly

Required Training:

• part-time or full time work in Delhi, NY area for the upcoming 2023 season. Train side by side with Ty, owner-operator of Ty's Taco-ria.
• training can be flexible around your current work schedule, at least 1-2 days weekly from May-October to adequately prepare you for your truck to open in May of 2024.

• several evaluation periods, to make sure both sides are a good fit for each other throughout the process

Compensation:

• entirely profit based. Your income depends on you.
• small base salary for weekly income, profits paid monthly
• transparent books, profits well defined
