RP Construction Services, Inc. (RPCS) is currently hiring for a Foreman I. RPCS is the 3rd largest mechanical solar installation company in the United States. Our ideal Foreman I will have a minimum of 2 - 5 years in ground-mount solar (preferred), or other related work experience e.g. construction, landscaping, agriculture. The Foreman I will possess a strong mechanical aptitude with an ability to read, understand, and lead crew members on proper installation in accordance with ATI specifications and tolerances. You will be 100% proficient in installation from start to finish. Must be able to build all aspects on site. Complete JHA and THA’s and adhere to company/jobsite safety policy. Your leadership skills will be put to work while leading the entire crew on the site. You must be able to problem solve and find resolutions under tight deadlines. You will report directly to the jobsite Foreman II and provide professional support internally as well as to the client, daily. You should possess the ability to operate most of the equipment on site. This work is physically demanding and requires constant lifting of 30 – 50 pounds, unassisted, and up to 75 pounds assisted. Your ability to lead by example will be clear by meeting or exceeding daily metrics set by the Foreman. Your anticipated schedule will be 8 – 10 hours a day and 5 – 6 days a week (weather permitting). This work will be performed 100% outside and subject to extreme weather conditions for 8 – 10 hours a day.

Your daily task will consist of, but not limited too, as well as other duties assigned by Supervisor.

• Client relationship management
• Submit accurate reports to Client and RPCS
• Directing heavy equipment operators with layout
• Directing assembly crew with solar array tracking assembly
• Ensuring gear rack components are assembled accurately
• Ability to follow site plans and install according to specifications
• Adhering to company safety procedures
• Oversite of solar modules installation
• Creative thinking and offer suggestions to overcome daily challenges
• Maintaining a clean worksite
• Contribute to positive moral on jobsite by providing good leadership
• Management of jobsite material inventory

• Identifying proper crew size for various tasks and understanding labor efficiency as it relates to project schedules
• Ability to forecast one week, 3-week look ahead schedules
• Complete proper JHAs, THAs
• Maintain a safe workplace
• Meet or exceed target build hours
• Meet or exceed target job budget for site general, travel, rental equipment
• Identify and report on Job Impacts
• Create (or communicate to inside) as-builts when applicable

Minimum Requirements:

• Willing and able to Travel 75% - 100% of the time
• OSHA 10 (OSHA 30 preferred)
• Comply with drug screening guidelines
• Must be at least 18 years of age at time of hire
• Provide proof of employment eligibility to work in the US
