Fourth Grade Lead Teacher 2023 – 2024
Episcopal School of Nashville is seeking an exceptional First Grade Lead Teacher for the
2023-2024 academic school year. Episcopal School of Nashville is committed to an

The ideal candidate will be an experienced lower school educator capable of meeting each child’s needs, as well as a thoughtful listener, who is able to effectively motivate and teach lower elementary-age students. An ability to communicate clearly and effectively with students, colleagues, and families, both orally and in writing, is essential. Professionalism, a positive outlook, a good sense of humor, and a student-centered approach to teaching are highly valued. We seek a colleague who enjoys being part of a highly collaborative team, with a commitment to interdisciplinary projects and innovative pedagogy.

A bachelor’s degree is required, preferably in Elementary Education. Experience in
curriculum development, at least three years of full-time lower school teaching
experience, and a master’s degree are preferred. Comfort and familiarity with the use of
relevant technology to enhance learning are also essential.
