Compensation and Benefits:
The pay range we’re offering is $21.00 per hour

Qualifications:
Case Management experience highly preferred
Bilingual skills highly preferred
Flexible hours consistent with the needs/availability of individuals in the community
High school diploma or GED preferred
Maintains a non-judgmental attitude toward families
Maintains required licenses and certifications to perform role
Microsoft Office
General Office Skills
Must pass pre-employment physical exam, TB and drug screening
Ability to commute to various sites throughout the community
DOJ, FBI, Child Abuse Index
Insurability under
Ability to lift at least 10 pounds for filing, boxes, and packages
Ability to sit for several hours performing clerical functions
Strong interpersonal skills/ability to relate to people with respect for their individuality in a non-judgmental manner and maintaining confidentiality in daily operations
Experience in working with culturally diverse communities and families with the ability to be culturally sensitive and appropriate
Key Responsibilities:
- Engage, build rapport, and develop positive, trusting relationships with individuals, while maintaining professional boundaries.
- Experience in conducting group educational or support sessions.
- Screen and assess the needs of applicants.
- Establish and maintain connections with community resources.
- Assist individuals with completing referrals to the following:
- Healthcare services
- Legal assistance
- Document assistance/translation
- Food banks
- Clothing assistance
- Rental assistance
- Shelter
- Others as identified
- Coordinate community fairs
- Provide support at the family resource center such as, but not limited to:
- Parent Skill Training
- Drop-In Center
- Job Training
- Violence Prevention
- Literacy Supports
