RUTLAND PUBLIC SCHOOLSRutland High and Middle School French TeacherRutland High School and Middle School seeks a passionate and energetic French Teacher to join our schools. The individual will be committed to high levels of achievement for all students. This position requires teaming with other World Language teachers to plan curriculum in a professional learning community and support students from diverse backgrounds to find success in high school and beyond. Our World Language department is a critical component to our school-wide Global Studies focus.

Required Qualifications: Experience teaching French.Experience with Common Core Standards and technology-based learning in world language instruction.Experience in differentiating instruction and knowledge of proficiency-based grading practices.Understanding of Cultural Competency.Knowledge of best practices in engaging and motivating students and managing student behaviors.Preferred Attributes: Participation in professional learning community groups, including working collaboratively with colleagues to plan units of study, review student data and progress, and adjust instruction.A commitment to student-centered learning approaches, including personalizing instruction and supporting students in meeting core proficienciesTraining and experience with English Language Learners and students with disabilities.Evidence of strong connection with students and families.Strong communication skills Please apply if you believe you can work with a dedicated team and make a difference for our students, please apply.
