Tuesday (8:00-5:00), Wednesday (9:00-5:00), Thursday (8:00-5:00)
Overview
We are hiring a Front Office Coordinator. This is a part-time position that will support our practice in Rancho Bernardo, opportunity for full-time once we expand our hours. The Front Office Coordinator we are seeking is required to have a minimum of 1 year of experience in front dental office duties. Our ideal candidate is a friendly, energetic individual with exceptional interpersonal skills; self-motivated; well organized; and has excellent verbal skills.

Responsibilities
The following front office duties are noted; however, other duties may be assigned:
Responsibilities:
- Work under the general direction of the Office Manager
- Admit patients
- Schedules new patient appointments and enters data in the software
- Work with the clinical team to schedule patients and ensure work flow efficiency
- Answer and direct all incoming calls
- Create a welcoming environment that puts patients at ease and introduces them to our office that offers a world class experience
- Process timely and accurate billing of claims per guidelines and policies
- Perform and document collection activity timely to resolve issues at the earliest stage of the process to meet accounts receivable targets
- Review and correct claims for errors identified pre and post submission of the claim
- Identify research and resolve differences in payment versus expected payment and non-payment
- Utilize problem-solving skills to support center and colleagues for resolution of issues
- Update communicate with the team of changes in patient schedule
- Order and organize marketing campaigns
- Monitor patient wait times and work with the team when running behind to help get caught up
- Maintain accuracy in fee schedule
- Be familiar with procedure codes
Qualifications
- Dental background with at least 1 year experience
- Previous experience in dental front office duties
- Previous experience scheduling and treatment planning

Pay: $25.00 - $28.00 per hour
