As a Front Desk Associate, it is your role to make sure every client that walks through our doors feels seen, welcomed, and loved!
Your Qualifications:
- Exceptional interpersonal skills with a positive, friendly and outgoing approach
- Confident in generating personal sales
- Fluent in English
- Excellent communication in person, on the telephone and via email
- Professional, punctual, reliable and neat
- Strong attention to detail and accuracy
- Trustworthy and able to handle confidential information
- Ability to work harmoniously with co-workers, clients and the general public
- Available to work Saturdays, ideally with a 6am start.
- 1+ years of retail/service sales (Fitness sales experience preferred)
- An affinity and passion for athletics
- Knowledge of the basics of tennis and pickle ball is preferred but not required
Your Role:
- Open the club, making sure the facility is ready to receive clients
- Greet all players and guests with a smile and thank them as they exit the club
- Check in all members and guests in accordance with company procedures, ensuring waivers are signed by every guest
- Direct people to their designated courts
- Communicate special events to members and guests
- Participate in networking/community events and club promotions
- Maintain an atmosphere that makes members feel welcome
- Facilitate all member requests or forward to a manager
- Maintain a professional disposition at all times
- Sign up and register new tennis students (sales)
- Schedule member services, reserve courts, personal tennis lessons, classes, etc.
- Facilitate payment of member services in accordance with company procedures
- Know club facility, services, and schedules
- Maintain a clean and organized work area
- Assist in all projects as delegated by club management
- Any other duties, as assigned
