Job Type: Full Time Monday - Friday
Pay Range: $16.00 - $17.00 DOE
Our rapidly growing facility is seeking dedicated individuals to be part of our Research Department. Our goal is to conduct meaningful clinical research activities focused on advancing the medical sciences and to improve the human condition. We have worked with amazing pharmaceutical partners such as Pfizer Gilead, Sanofi, AstraZeneca, and Johns Hopkins University to name a few. We are looking to add someone talented and hard-working to our already amazing staff. You will be part of a team of research professionals who are passionate about the work they do and the impact they create. In this role, you will have the opportunity to interact with study participants, conduct recruitment screenings, interviews and/or collect participant information and data.
Responsibilities including but not limited to:
- Greets patients professionally both in person and on the phone.
- Answer incoming calls and transfer to the appropriate person.
- Verifying that all forms are completed prior to seeing patients.
- Updates and verifies patient information in our EMR system.
- Contacting patients to schedule follow up or missed appointments.
- Confirms appointments for all providers a day prior.
- Scanning & routing incoming mail
- Assisting with day to day operations within the facility
- Provides support to coworkers.
- Keeping a sheet count of the inventory
- Conduct participant recruitment and screening calls over the phone
- Prepare materials needed daily for participant visits
- Adhere to data security practices to protect privacy and confidentiality.
- Maintain quality and confidentiality of data collected and follow data entry protocols and guidelines.
- Maintain and update study participant records; contact information, medical history, etc.
- Other administrative duties may be assigned.
Qualifications:
- High School diploma or equivalent, required.
- Previous work experience in a research setting, preferred.
- Medical Assistant or Phlebotomy certified, preferred.
- Must be able to lift roughly 25+ lbs safely or about the size of a large dog.
- Bilingual in English and Spanish (reading, writing and speaking), required.
- Knowledge of medical terminology preferred.
Skills:
- Experience in using Clinical Systems such as CTMS (Clinical Trial Management System), preferred,
- Excellent written and verbal communication skills and interpersonal relationship skills.
- Excellent problem-solving and critical thinking.
- Ability to manage confidential information with discretion.
- Strict attention to detail.
- Computer skills.
- Ability to interact professionally with all organizational levels.
- Ability to manage competing priorities in a fast-paced environment.
- Must be able to work in a team environment.
- Adhere to all company rules and requirements.
