Our team is seeking a highly motivated, bilingual individual who would fit our medical reception/office management position. Knowledge of working in a professional medical clinical setting and Spanish-speaking skills is a must. We are a fast-paced Physical Therapy practice with over 43 offices growing rapidly across the nation.

This position will open doors to those in hopes of continuing their career in the medical field, and will greatly benefit from this position in terms of working in a medical setting and gaining knowledge of office management. One will benefit in this position in understanding medical terminology, current procedure terminology and daily encounter with our professional healthcare providers.

Schedule: Monday through Friday from 9:00am to 5:00pm (Full-Time)

RESPONSIBILITIES INCLUDE (but not limited to):

  • Greeting patients upon arrival.
  • Check-in Patients
  • Accommodating patients with appointment scheduling, re-scheduling and future reoccurring appointments.
  • Assisting daily in-bound/out-bound calls.
  • Call no-show patients
  • Required to use our EMR software for scheduling and access to patient charts.
  • Intake of new patients (Filling out intake forms, collecting ID, Insurance card)
  • Collect and apply payments upfront
  • Scan patient documents
  • Follow protocol with initial evaluations.
  • Occasional contact with patient's attorney law firm and/or primary care physician.
  • Checking if more insurance authorization needs to be requested by our Authorizations department

SKILLS:

  • English and Spanish required.
  • Knowledge of work experience in a medical-based background.
  • Keyboard proficiency: 50 + words per minute.
  • Proficient knowledge in Electronic Medical Records, EMR, practice software.
  • Maintain a professional demeanor.
  • Maintain capability of multi-tasking various office tasks, simultaneously.
  • Knowledge of ICD and CPT is a plus.
  • High School Diploma required
  • Work is performed in a typical interior/office work environment
  • Salary is to be discussed.
