PURPOSE:

You are responsible for ensuring the service standard for our customers is alive and well. You truly believe in our great prices, famous brands, and amazing prices. You lead the happiness crew in execution of company defined practices and processes on the sales floor, the fitting room, the cash wrap, and in the overall store environment. WORKING RELATIONSHIPS:

Report to the general manager or customer experience manager (based on volume). Supervise direct reports, the happiness crew – consisting of cashiers, sales floor, fitting room and maintenance crew members. Work closely with partners in the store to drive sales, customer loyalty, and efficiency. You communicate effectively with peers and business partners.

Responsibilities:

Elevates store visual standards and merchandising to support the customer experience

Drive Visual Standards – Ensures stores meet visual execution standards on all floor sets; manages a store that is neat, clean, and organized; represents and reinforces the brand in a positive manner through crisp visual presentation; maximizes use of sales floor in order to drive profitable sales. OPERATIONAL EXCELLENCE

Responsibilities: Participates in walkthrough of departments with direct supervisor to identify strengths and opportunities

Create and execute short term plans that support long term store strategies

Ensures service and merchandising standards are met through company communications and initiatives for direct reports

Partners with direct supervisor to implement company communications and directions that impact their department

Maintains supply and maintenance expenses

Own overall store cleanliness and maintenance

Monitors, maintains, and follows company policies and procedures

Leads and models all customer service behaviors

Responsibilities: Accountable for meeting the store compliance and audit requirements for their departments

Sets, monitors, and follows up on productivity goals of the team

Adheres to expense goals

Accountable for input of supply order

Supports and assists execution of store strategy for Asset Protection awareness and education to minimize loss

Champion Change - Understands different kinds of change; motivates others to welcome change; manages the change process while maintaining operating effectiveness; establishes processes to ensure the success of change.

PEOPLE

Responsibilities: Collaborate with direct supervisor to meet hiring goals

Assist direct supervisor with new hire orientation and training for crew members

Ensure all cashiers are fully trained and follow all guidelines for the front-end

Ensure all fitting room crew members are trained and follow all guidelines for the fitting room

Assesses training and growth opportunities in departments and partners with direct supervisor to create a developmental plan for the team

Motivates team through recognition

Provide input to direct supervisor about crew members for mid-year and yearly performance reviews

Addresses poor performance or policy violations and coaching needs with direct reports

Partners with store leadership team to minimize store turnover

Hiring & Staffing - Has a nose for talent; hires the best people available from inside or outside; is not afraid of selecting strong people; assembles talented staffs.
