JOB DESCRIPTION
POSITION: Front Office Receptionist
REPORTS TO: Physicians / Administrator / Front Office Manager
Schedule: Monday – Friday 9:00 am – 5:00 pm
Full-time employees are eligible for health, dental, vision benefits as well as paid time off and 401k. This is an hourly position and pay would be based off experience.
Education and Experience:
- One to two years of dermatologic/aesthetics experience preferred.
- One to two years of sales experience preferred.
- College degree including business-related courses preferred.
Essential Skills and Abilities:
- Superior communication skills, oral, and written
- Computer literate. Familiarity with MS Word, Excel, Nextech, and PayJunction.
- Must be able to work as part of a team.
- Effective organizational skills.
- Excellent verbal and written communication skills.
- Must be customer service oriented.
- Effective organization skills with attention to detail.
- Ability to manage multiple projects simultaneously.
- Presents a highly professional image
Responsibilities:
- Answer phone with professional manner.
- Schedule patients.
- Address patient questions regarding the patient portal, balances, schedule, etc.
- Help maintain skin care inventory and notify practice administrator of any low stock items or discrepancies.
- Assist checking patients out after appointment.
- Assist with the pre-op process and procedures which includes sending proper documentation to the associated surgery center via fax.
- Maintain cleanliness of the front office desk and patient waiting room.
- Be able to accurately and efficiently answer any questions regarding products and services.
- Must maintain professional appearance and attitude.
- Assist with miscellaneous projects to maintain work flow.

Pay: $18.00 - $20.00 per hour
