Job description

• Migrate Vue.js components to React in an existing, large application
• Migrate legacy Vue stores to in-house state management layer
• Write component snapshot tests using Jest
• Build and maintain software control panels for vehicle components
• Build and maintain interactive workflows for operational, maintenance, and troubleshooting tasks

Requirements:

• Fluency with React, TypeScript, HTML & SCSS
• Familiarity with GIT
• Experience building accessible and performant user-facing web applications
• Proven written and verbal communication skills
• Proven ability to work on remote teams

Bonus qualifications:

• Experience using Vue.js or other modern frontend UI frameworks
• Experience with CSS-in-JS libraries, such as Styled-Components, Emotion, or Linaria
• Experience writing UI snapshot component tests
• Experience building dashboards and/or data visualization frontends
• Experience building real-time and/or data intensive applications
• Experience using component libraries based off of Material UI

The ideal candidate should have a proven track record of building robust, user-friendly interfaces for complex systems, as well as experience working with low-level protocols and interfacing with hardware. You should be comfortable working independently and collaborating with our team to integrate your work into our existing codebase. Strong communication skills, a positive attitude, and the ability to work on remote teams are essential.

Salary: $80.00 - $90.00 per hour
