Homestead Village is seeking a skilled, detail orientated Housekeeper with excellent customer service skills. Our Housekeepers are critical to the health, safety, and wellbeing of our residents and the entire community. The Housekeeper for this position would focus on cleaning in all areas.

This position is Full-Time, nonexempt

Schedule: Afternoon Start Time Every Tuesday, Wednesday, Thursday, Friday

Qualifications:

• 1 year experience in general housekeeping is preferred
• Experience using floor care equipment preferred
• Ability to clearly communicate with residents & co-workers to meet resident needs.
• Ability to work with minimal supervision
• Must be honest and dependable.
• Excellence in customer service.
• Adheres to the Company Wide Behaviors.
• Valid State Issued Driver’s License

Responsibilities :

• Maintains a clean, healthy, and safe environment by performing housekeeping duties as assigned.
• Inspects, monitors, cleans, and maintains resident rooms, indoor and outdoor common areas, employee service areas, sidewalks, and driveways.
• Uses chemicals and cleaning agents safely and effectively to accomplish assigned tasks in accordance with environmental services regulations.
• Completes housekeeping duties in a timely manner as assigned by supervisor, including picking up and disposing of trash, maintaining flooring, moving, and maintaining furniture.
• Uses housekeeping equipment in a safe and effective manner as trained by supervisor.
• Performs routine minor equipment maintenance to ensure all equipment remains in a clean and operable condition.
• Assists with cleaning of resident rooms upon vacancy
• Completes special projects as assigned by supervisor, including setup and breakdown of chairs, tables, etc. for special occasions.
• Assists with removing snow and ice as directed by supervisor.
• Picks up and delivers equipment, supplies, furniture, etc. for residents, activities, and Homestead Village functions.
• Perform other duties as assigned.

Job Type: Full-time

Pay: From $13.50 per hour
