The primary purpose of this position is to assist Health Advantage Federal Credit Union in achieving its vision to be the financial institution of choice among all eligible members and to provide programs and services that will enhance the lifelong wellbeing of our members.

The Card Services Specialist I is directly responsible for delivering high quality service to both internal and external members while performing a variety of support functions of a sensitive nature pertaining to plastic cards and payment functions.

Main Responsibilities and Duties

· Respond to all calls, email and other correspondence to answer and resolve issues/disputes pertaining to credit or debit cards. Research member inquiries to ensure proper follow up and satisfaction. Continuously check voice mail and reply to these calls accordingly.

· Monitor Falcon reporting, initiate contact to members regarding Falcon alerts and proactively keep outstanding Falcons to a minimum.

· Perform preliminary research on disputed and fraudulent card transactions. Give provisional credit according to Credit Union rules and regulations.

· Prepare new debit and credit card accounts by establishing and maintaining all necessary information on the internal and systems. Perform maintenance on debit and credit cards.

· Ensure all cards are sent out correctly.

· Produce, save and make available assigned reports.

· Refer members to the proper department for issues that cannot be resolved within your department. Assist area personnel and all other staff members as required, handling communications and follow-up professionally. Complete required reports and related documents promptly and accurately.

· Maintain an up-to-date and comprehensive knowledge of Credit Union products and services. Support the solutions program of the Credit Union.

Pay: From $16.00 per hour

• High school or equivalent (Preferred)

Experience:

• Banking: 1 year (Preferred)
