ProCare Therapy is currently seeking a dedicated and compassionate Registered Nurse (RN) to join our team as a full-time School Nurse in Ithaca, NY. Responsibilities:

• Provide comprehensive healthcare services to students in a school setting.
• Assess and evaluate the health needs of students, and develop appropriate care plans.
• Administer medication, perform medical procedures, and provide emergency care as required.
• Maintain accurate health records and documentation.
• Collaborate with teachers, administrators, and parents to ensure the well-being of students.
• Educate students, staff, and parents on health-related topics and promote healthy lifestyles.

Requirements:

• Current and valid Registered Nurse (RN) license in the state of New York.
• Minimum of one year of experience working as an RN, preferably in a school or pediatric setting.
• Proficient in assessing, planning, implementing, and evaluating student healthcare.
• Excellent communication and interpersonal skills.
• Ability to work independently and collaboratively within a multidisciplinary team.
• CPR and First Aid certifications.
