In this pivotal, critical guest-facing retail sales position, you would be selling the #1 recognized furniture brand in the United States along with our unique home décor products and related services to our customers.

SPECIFIC RESPONSIBILITIES INCLUDE:

• Greet and engage each guest using the La-Z-Boy sales approach to maximize customer satisfaction.
• Ask probing questions, listen attentively to customer needs, and provide creative solutions beyond customer expectations!
• Identify customers who might have a need for an In-Home consultation and partner with our on-site Designer to create the perfect room!
• Develop and maintain a high level of knowledge of the La-Z-Boy products; provide product demonstrations; explain current promotions, special financing, and customer warranties.

KNOWLEDGE, SKILLS, AND OTHER REQUIREMENTS:

• Self-motivated to achieve, meet goals, and contribute to the overall store success.
• Great communication and interpersonal skills – an approachable, engaging personality with high energy and a positive attitude.
• Able to learn, retain, and demonstrate extensive product knowledge and have a creative flair for matching customer needs with our product selections.
• Must be available to work evenings, weekends, and holidays as required in a successful retail environment.

EDUCATION AND EXPERIENCE:

• High School Diploma or equivalent required
• Retail sales or design consultant experience/training preferred
• Sales experience in the following industries preferred: Furniture Sales, Insurance Sales, Pharmaceutical Sales, Medical Device Sales, Real Estate, Software Sales, Mortgage Sales, Automotive Sales, Solar Panel Sales, etc.
