Norbert E. Mitchell Co., Inc. is looking for full time G2 licensed Gas Technicians.

Candidates must be highly safety conscious, detail oriented and well organized in order to ensure the highest level of safety and performance, while meeting and exceeding the expectations of our customers.

Job Summary:

The G2 Technician will be responsible for setting LP tanks, running gas lines, and performing maintenance, diagnostic testing, installation and repairs on a variety of LP systems. The G2 Technician will:

• Maintain outstanding customer service at all times
• Install and perform maintenance on Propane tanks and piping
• Perform service calls and preventive maintenance on Propane equipment
• Use various types of testing equipment
• Be responsible for the cleanliness of the area where work is performed
• Clearly communicate details of the service call to each customer
• Neatly and completely fill out service paperwork
• Other duties as assigned

Education/Experience:

• High school graduate or equivalent
• Two years of experience as a G2 Technician preferred

Qualifications:

• Current G2 license
• Possess a clean driving record
• Possess at least a Class C CDL with a Hazmat endorsement or be able to obtain one
• Be knowledgeable in electrical systems and low voltage wiring
• Able to use basic hand tools and power tools
• Able to work efficiently with minimal supervision
• Work in accordance with established safety procedures
• Available to work weekends and on-call

Job Type: Full-time

Pay: $47,000.00 - $60,000.00 per hour

Schedule:

• Monday to Friday
• On call
• Overtime
• Weekend availability

Education:

• High school or equivalent (Preferred)

Experience:

• HVAC/R: 1 year (Preferred)

License/Certification:

• CDL with Hazmat endorsement (Preferred)
