Purpose of Position
This is a part-time, non-benefited position. Only UND students are eligible to be hired in this position.
Duties & Responsibilities
- Light manual labor in both indoor and outdoor gardening tasks
- Potting plants
- Shoveling dirt into planters
- Watering plants
- Weeding
- Trimming plants
- Assisting with interactive garden programming and activities - (Essential)
Required Competencies
- Lift up to 30lbs
- Enjoy being outside and planting
- Enjoy working with others
- Effective communication skills
Minimum Requirements
- Must have accepted a Federal Work Study award from the Office of student Finance.
- Successful competition of a criminal history background check
- Enrolled in a minimum of 6 credits for the employed academic semester
