If so, we are looking for a highly motivated individual like you to join the Sales Central GT Mods team in Gas Services North America region who is eager to push the Siemens Energy portfolio of products to market!

How You’ll Make an Impact

  • Proactively identify GT Mods opportunities based on understanding of market trends and customer drivers; collaborate with Platform Teams to incorporate appropriate Mods products and packages into bid strategies.
  • Lead customer presentations promoting SE value proposition and client benefits.
  • Participate in bid strategy discussions with platform teams to develop scope, pricing, and schedule for outage opportunities that demonstrate OEM value and satisfy internal targets and risk thresholds.
  • Lead the sales process for GT Mods opportunities through Open Market and Service Program channels; includes pricing strategy, scope/cost/risk definition, confirmation of component availability, bid process, proposal generation, customer presentation, and contract negotiation.
  • Maintain market price levels, competitive intelligence, and marketing materials for assigned GT Mods products.
  • Drive market communication of assigned GT Mods products by participating in industry conferences, initiating marketing campaigns, and developing marketing materials!
  • Forecast inventory requirements and develop cases for Strategic Spares as needed to support expected market demand for assigned Mods products.
  • Identify and communicate product development needs based on customer feedback, market trends, and competitive intel!

What You Bring

  • Bachelor’s Degree in Mechanical Engineering or related field
  • 5+ years of experience in power generation and/or power generation service industry; field service experience preferred.
  • Proficient knowledge of Siemens Energy gas turbines and upgrade products is required; hands-on experience preferred. Experience with or in-depth knowledge of field service competitors
  • Proficiency in Salesforce.com, Excel, Power Point, SAP, Pivot Tables
  • Ability to effectively lead, communicate, and collaborate with a multi-functional team to develop bid strategies, bid packages, and customer deliverables
  • Strong customer service with firsthand experience and proven success communicating SE product value
  • Service offering experience including bid approval process
  • Applicants must be legally authorized for employment in the United States without need for current or future employer-sponsored work authorization. Siemens Energy employees with current visa sponsorship may be eligible for internal transfers.
  • Less than 20% travel
