As a GCP Consultant, GCVE at Ensono, you will be playing a key supportive role within your project from a hands-on technical and leadership perspective; resolving team challenges that might arise within a complex project and helping the client to realize the business benefit of an investment into the cloud.
About the role and what you'll be doing:
You can expect to be responsible for designing and building cloud systems and environments, creating testable code, and building GCP based cloud native solutions with the support of your fellow Ensono Digital associates and team. You will also serve as a mentor on the team.
You will be working across the full project lifecycle, understanding the business and client requirements, navigating through complex stakeholder relationships, and articulating solutions to both technical and non-technical audiences, as well as coaching and mentoring members of the project team.
You will be a self-starter, and proactive in your project work and your career, continuously looking for ways to add value to your community and Ensono.

Required Qualifications:
- Great communication skills, in particular: presenting, collaborating, and partnering with stakeholders
Experience with -
- building GCP core services - compute & networking services i.e., Compute Engine, App Engine, Storage, Networking (VPC, Firewall, Load Balancer), Datastore etc.
- Google VMware Engine (GCVE) and GCP Networking experience to enable GCVE deployments
- migrating VMware workloads from on-prem to GCVE, hybrid cloud connectivity with HCX and NSX-T, VPN etc.
- GCP native Networking (VPC, Firewall, Load Balancer) and 3rd party appliances e.g., Palo Alto, F5 etc.
- troubleshooting environment/platform issues (connection issues/firewall issues / OS issues etc.)
- building enterprise grade GCP landing zone, automation with IaC
- creating routing configurations, F5 load balancer design, config & deployment, firewall design, config & deployment (palo alto) and on-prem connectivity
- working on an Agile team
- DevOps (CI/CD, IaC etc.) will be a plus
Preferred Qualifications:
Experience with -

writing appropriate integration and end-end testing in a BDD style

accountability for code and engineering quality

understanding business and client requirements and articulating the purpose of a solution and why certain tools and frameworks were chosen to both technical and non-technical audiences

VMware vSphere configuration and management

developing in Java (8+) or derivative
