Families Together of Orange County (FTOC) is a rapidly growing Federally Qualified Health Center (FQHC) located in Tustin, CA looking for a full-time or part-time Dentist licensed to practice in California. FTOC provides an array of services via a office-based primary care face-to-face services; primarily telehealth/telemedicine; and mobile medical units in the community. Services provided include primary care, OBGYN, dental, mental health, mammogram, vision, physical therapy, and much more. Position Description: Looking for a highly-motivated dentist with only the highest of professional and ethical standards to work in our non-profit office in Tustin, Ca.

Job Responsibilities:

• Provide high quality oral health care, which includes all phases of dentistry for a family practice.
• Provide age appropriate care to all diverse groups within the community from children to geriatric
• Inform patients of their specific treatment plan; including risks and benefits of the proposed treatments, alternative options when appropriate, and the risks of not doing the recommended treatments
• Educate patients about their oral health and proper oral hygiene techniques
• Maintain accurate and thorough patient records
• Ensure infection control and HIPAA compliance is practiced without exception
• Achieve high patient satisfaction by offering professional and friendly service
• Comply with office policies and procedures
• Assist with other duties as needed

Qualifications:

• Have a current dental license and DEA in good standing (Malpractice Insurance provided by the organization).
• Knowledge of OSHA, HIPAA and infection control compliance
• Current BCLS certification
• Strong customer service skills
• Enthusiastic, positive attitude & passionate about providing services to underserved populations
• Advanced communication skills
• Self-directed; ability to direct and manage tasks, and treat patients independently when necessary
• Excellent organizational skills with the ability to multi-task in a busy practice setting
• Electronic health record literate

Highly preferred but not required:

• Bilingual: Spanish

Job Types: Full-time, Part-time

Pay: From $70.00 per hour
