Pay Rate:


$20.00/hr. up to $25.83/hr. after qualifying period

Nights - Shift C 11 pm- 7 am,

Swing Shifts - rotating days, Shift A - 7 am-3pm, Shift B - 3 pm-11 pm


The plant currently operates 24/7 with 8 hour shifts (7am-3pm, 3pm-11pm swing shifts, fixed night shift 11pm-7am) but we anticipate moving to a 12 hour shift program as soon as staffing levels allow to give all employes an enhanced work-life balance.

The Job You Will Perform:


Load and unload trailers

Complete pre-start forklift maintenance inspection report

Follow proper trailer loading and unloading lock-out/tag-out procedure

Complete receiving report to accurately record materials received

Submit receiving reports after trailer is unloaded

Complete load sheet to accurately record the grades, bale count, loading start/stop times for finished goods on outbound shipments

Complete and submit load sheet at completion of shipment

Follow proper trailer loading and unloading lock-out/tag-out procedure

Understand and follow load pattern according to trailer, railcar

Other duties as assigned.


The Skills You Will Bring:

Following all safety rules;

Previous forklift operating experience in an industrial manufacturing or other labor intensive work experience is required

A background as an order picker is preferred

Corrugated industry manufacturing environment preferred

Know what a monotrol pedal is and how it operates

Be able to multitask in a very fast paced environment

Be computer literate and operate RF scanning equipment

Maintaining all Quality checks on products as required

A desire to learn

Flexibility with hours worked in a fast paced environment

General housekeeping skills around the work site

The ability to accurately use and read measuring devices

Reading factory orders

The ability to stand walk, twist, lift and reach repetitively

The ability to work well as part of a team

High school diploma / GED preferred

Must be 18 years of age or older

Drug screen, background/reference check and health screening required

Our Decatur Container Facility in Decatur, Alabama is looking for motivated individuals who are capable of performing a multitude of functions in a flexible, fast-paced production environment. Our workplace requires individuals who understand the needs of the business while maintaining a focus on safety, customer satisfaction, quality and productivity.


While the entry level Forklift Operators position starts at $18.72 per hour, it increases to $22.59 after the probationary period of 90 work days (plus shift differentials). Employees can progress to other positions with higher rates of pay as they progress.


Pre-Employment process includes all candidates successfully completing an operations test, drug screening and background/employment verification prior to their start date.


Successful candidates must be available to work 1st, 2nd or 3rd shift. Must be willing and able to work daily and weekly overtime, including weekends as business conditions require. At times, employees are required to work overtime without notice.

The plant currently operates 24/7 with 8 hour shifts (7am-3pm, 3pm-11pm swing shifts, fixed night shift 11pm-7am) but we anticipate moving to a 12 hour shift program as soon as staffing levels allow. (With this, the team will work 3 consecutive shifts, followed by 4 days off, 3 shifts, then 7 days off, 3 shifts, and 4 days off, and 3 shifts and 1 day off.) This shift schedule offers two 4-day weekends and a full 7-day break in every 4-week rotation and will be fixed on either day or night shift.)
