We are in the dredging business, and at present we need a dependable laborer.

You must be able to swim; posses a good work ethic; have your own transportation, be clean and sober, able to work with others, are not a know-it-all, and must NOT enjoy doing the same thing day in and day out. Every job and job site is different and presents its own set of challenges.

Duties include setting up and tearing down jobs and monitoring equipment. Occasionally the job involves heavy lifting, but this is not all day or every day. The successful applicant will be laying pipes and installing silt fencing. Hard days are balanced by much easier ones. It is important that you can work as part of a team.

We are a tiny little company going through a growth spurt. There are opportunities to advance in both responsibilities and pay. Your skills and performance will produce raises- you make the company money, you will be rewarded.

Driver's license is a must. Mechanical skills would be helpful.

We work primarily on Lakes Oconee and Sinclair, but occasionally out of town.

The base of operation is 20 miles south of Watkinsville, Ga. If this is not a convenient commute, don't waste your time or mine.

We will not pay "under the table", so if that's what you're after, keep looking.

If you are the successful applicant, you will become an employee and at the end of the year you will get a W-2 from us. After you've been with us for six months, you qualify for bonuses, some paid holidays and are able to participate in a 401K plan.

Like many outdoor jobs, our ability to work is often dictated by the weather, but we are a year 'round operation.
