Job description

Pepin Precast is a precast concrete manufacturer located in Sanford Maine. We are currently looking to hire a part, or full time laborer to bend rebar for our precast concrete production.

Someone looking for part time work would come in from about 6-11 or 12, mon-fri and cut and bend rebar using our hydraulic rebar cutter based on measurement diagrams and cut sheets. All steel for the days required production would need to be cut, stacked, and labeled based on what it is, and then work area cleaned up before leaving.

For candidates looking for full time work, once all rebar is cut and bent for the day, this person would help build and pour precast concrete forms. This would be from about 6am-4pm mon-fri with occasional optional saturday morning work.

Employees interested in either part or full time work would be kept year round, the work is indoors in our heated shop and offers good benefits for anyone working at least 34 hours per week. No experience is required, but candidates must be willing to work hard, get dirty, and be able to be on their feet for most of the day. Candidates with previous precast concrete experience are encouraged to apply and can be paid more. We offer health insurance, paid holidays, paid time off, 401K with company match and more.
